Lord of the Flies Summative Project
Directions/Requirements You and your table group will work together to create one presentation about Lord of the Flies. Your group will be assigned a character and your multimedia project will be based around that character. Each slide will answer a different question or have a specific task. Slide One: Creative project title and each group members name. Slide Two: Who is your character? Use graphics and quotes that depict who your character is in the novel. GRAB YOUR AUDIENCE'S ATTENTION!! Slide Three: What is significant about your character? What do they represent or symbolize in the novel? Slide Four: Connect a symbol to your character. Provide textual evidence and analysis connecting that show the connection. Provide a picture of the symbol. Slide Five: Connect your character to another character from a story or novel that is not LOTF. What is the connection? Explain the significance. (This character can come from something we have read during this collection, or from an independent reading novel.) Slide Six:How have bonds been established or destroyed by or around your character? Provide textual evidence and analysis. Make sure you conclude your presentation in a way that is academically sufficient and give a “drop the mic” feeling!
Note: Just because there are only six slides listed here does not mean you limited to six slides! Add slides as needed to make your presentation flow and look professional. ***BE CREATIVE! MAKE YOUR PRESENTATION ACADEMIC, COLORFUL, AND VISUALLY PLEASING!*** On the Day of Presentation!
Each group member should introduce themselves.
Each group member should explain at least one slide.
Each group member should come dressed nicely, prepared to discuss their presentation, and come prepared to respectfully listen to other presentations.
Each presentation should take no less than four minutes and no more than five minutes.
